Li is the Co-Founder and General Partner of Variant, a first-check venture firm investing in the ownership economy. She previously was the founder and Managing Partner of Atelier, a VC firm investing in the creator economy and future of work. She’s an investor in startups that lower the barriers to creativity and income, including Substack, Patreon, Descript, and Stir. Previously, she was a consumer partner for 4 years at Andreessen Horowitz. She’s also a creator herself, with a Substack newsletter, podcast, and TikTok.
